Arriving in the UK by air
If possible, Travelling from outside the UK may find it easier to book a ticket to Birmingham International Airport rather than any London airport. This is because Birmingham is 120 miles (200 kilometres) north-west of London and there are no flight connections, although you can travel from London to Birmingham either by train or coach.
Directions by Rail
Birmingham is served by two mainline stations – Birmingham New Street in the City Centre and Birmingham International for the airport and NEC. Snow Hill and Moor Street train stations are also in the city centre. Walking from Birmingham New Street Station, leave the station from the Smallbrook Queensway exit (Boots will be opposite you) and turn left, walking down the underpass. Then, cross at the traffic lights, past Moor Street Station on your right, and follow the Moor Street Queensway road, turning right when you reach the Clayton Hotel. Follow the path across another crossing and you will be on BCU's City Centre Campus - carry on straight and you will pass Millennium Point, the Parkside Building, then the Curzon Building.
Directions by Car
Postcode for Sat Nav (Millennium Point NCP car park): B4 7AP
From the M6, leave at junction 6 and follow the A38(M) Aston Expressway. Follow the signs to the city centre and Millennium Point. The University is located on the right just before you reach the city centre.
Millennium Point is clearly signposted from all main routes into the city – simply follow the brown tourist signs. Please note: do not follow the signs to City University since these may lead you to the wrong campus - please follow the Sat Nav postcode B4 7AP or signs to Millennium Point. Currently, there are major road works around the Millennium Point vicinity and access routes may change on a regular basis. You may need to follow diversion routes where indicated.
